Dec 1 to Dec 5: These much-anticipated fairs of Miami Art Week return to take over Wynwood with two fairs under one roof. Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami form the acclaimed contemporary and fine art experience that collectively presents some of today’s most coveted national and international galleries and artists. Red Dot celebrates the world’s most progressive portfolios by today’s elite artists, galleries, and emerging talents. Spectrum is a curated art fair presenting 200+ independent career artists, studios, and galleries that are pushing the boundaries in surprising and significant ways.


Dec 1: It's the most wonderful time of the year. The Opening Night Preview for Red Dot Miami and Spectrum Miami will feature innovative contemporary art together with Louis Jadot Wines, Pommery Champagne, hors d’oeuvres, and musical entertainment. It’s become the ultimate destination for the contemporary art enthusiasts who collectively seek a more accessible experience with exhibits showcasing the world’s most progressive portfolios by some of today’s elite artists, galleries, dealers, and emerging talents.

Nov 30 to Dec 5: Recognized as one of the preeminent international modern and contemporary art fairs globally, Art Miami will showcase an array of iconic and signature investment quality art works, dynamic projects and special installations across more than 140 international galleries from 17 countries representing 60 cities.The fair will be held alongside at the prestigious waterfront location on Biscayne Bay, nestled between the Venetian and MacArthur Causeways in the heart of Downtown Miami.

Dec 3 to 5: The Umbrellas of Little Havana Art Festival is a gathering of local artists in the heart of the arts and entertainment district on Calle Ocho. With 40 artists exhibiting their work under dozens of magnificent hand painted patio umbrellas, we are a fair like no other. Enjoy a children's booth, authors, musicians, dancers and pop up fun. The event is free and family friendly. 

Fridge Art Fair 

Nov 29 to Dec 4: See an eclectic array of art in all media and styles at the innovative Fridge Art Fair, known for its non-intimidating vibe and out-of-the-box approach. In its 8th and latest edition, Fridge takes over eclectic art space Esquina de Abuela in the urban cultural district of Allapattah. Offerings at the show to be announced but one thing’s for certain, there will be dogs!

Nov 30 to Dec 4: CONTEXT, presented by Art Miami, returns for its ninth edition featuring international galleries showcasing emerging, mid-career and cutting-edge artists. The fair continues to develop and push boundaries on the conversation about contemporary art offering an exceptionally strong platform for collectors to discover and acquire fresh and significant works in today’s primary art market.

Nov 29 to Dec 4: UNTITLED, ART is an innovative and inclusive platform for discovering contemporary art on the sands of Miami Beach. Comprising over 100 international contemporary galleries, the fair connects the best of contemporary art, artist performances, live events and other activations to keep arts aficionados captive and entertained.


Dec 1 to Dec 5: Soul Basel is the premier showcase of Black art from world-renowned and emerging artisans during Miami’s Art Week. Guests can visit an array of exhibitions, pop-up art galleries, and special events in Overtown’s cultural, historic, and outdoor venues. Exhibits include Point Comfort Art Fair, Soul Basel Open Air Art Village, Rolling Art & Vibez, and more.

Hreinn Fridfinnsson 

Nov 30 to Dec 5: MOAD is scheduling groundbreaking exhibitions during Miami Art Week showcasing art that puts Miami on the map. Our poetic and lyrical exhibition of Hreinn Fridfinnsson, an important Conceptual artist from Iceland, is his very first American museum show. Jorge Pardo’s dynamic installation Mongrel explores the importance of our city in this major international art star’s life and art.

Across the Afro Diaspora

Dec 1: Join us for a collaborative discussion with our partner El Espacio 23, featuring Tandazani Dhlakama and Maria Elena Ortiz, that spans the Afro Diaspora touching on themes from both exhibitions: WITNESS: Afro Perspectives from the Jorge M. Pérez Collection and Allied with Power.

First Fridays

Dec 3: First Fridays are back in time for Miami Art Week 2021. Celebrate the closing of Miami Art Week and Art Basel Miami Beach with a series of live performances by rapper-producer Galcher Lustwerk (Ghostly International) and New York-based experimental electronic producer and artist Hiro Kone (Dais Records), with a special DJ set by Miho Hatori (Cibo Matto). 
Open Studios, Brunch and Tour 

Dec. 4: Visit the studios of Oolite’s resident artists and enjoy a delicious brunch and curator-led tour. “Common Space” features work by ten renown artists from New York and Miami who re-envision social space as a site of artistic production. “Feels Like 97°” is an exhibition exploring photographic and video work produced under the warmth of South Florida’s sun.
Lowe Art Museum
Samuel Levi Jones in Conversation with Dennis Scholl 

Dec 4: The Lowe Art Museum hosts a conversation with artist Samuel Levi Jones and Dennis Scholl. Trained as a photographer and multidisciplinary artist, Jones deconstructs and manipulates books such as encyclopedias and textbooks, to critically explore systems of knowledge and power.

Time Space Existence

Nov 30 to Dec 6: TIME SPACE EXISTENCE features completed and ongoing projects, innovative proposals, and utopian dreams of architectural expressions. Through a wide selection of projects ranging from conceptual works, models, photographs, videos, sculptures, to site-specific installations, each room will provide visitors information and inspiration on our surroundings. Opa Locka Light District
Guided Walking Tour

Nov 29 to Dec 5: Created by O'Miami and the Opa-locka Community Development Corporation, the Opa-locka Light District is a compelling and creative public art installation that has transformed ten city street lamps along Opa-Locka Boulevard into poetry projection devices. Join a guided walking tour at 6PM each evening during art week to hear the stories behind the poems. RSVP for your free tickets.

Flagler Street Festival

Nov 30 to Dec 5: During Art Week 2021, art, lights and energy will usher in a new era for Downtown Miami. The Flagler Street Festival will feature muralists, digital art installations and outdoor lounge spaces. The events also include the Miami Mural Festival infusing the Downtown Flagler District with world-class art, turning it into a year-round destination for lovers of public art.

COALESCE – An Exhibition of New Works by Elidea

Nov 30: Enjoy the opening night of COALESCE, the new project of contemporary artist Elidea, in collaboration with Italian-French fashion photographer Raoul Beltrame. COALESCE is the fusion of a creative world created by photography, collage, painting and gold. It is the birth, the destruction and the new life which highlights the fragility, enchantment and strength of a woman’s body. Free, registration required.

Medallion Chair

Nov 30 to Dec 5: The House of Dior is pleased to present The Dior Medallion Chair, an exhibition travelling from the Salone del Mobile in Milan to Design Week Miami, unveiling this Dior icon reinterpreted by 17 artists from around the world. The exhibition is free by reservation only. 

Lux Doral:
Interactive Light Art Exhibit 

Nov 30 to Dec 31: A free outdoor art exhibit, featuring 5 interactive artworks, filled with light and awe. Lightweave is an interactive artwork that weaves together structure, color, light and sound. Balance is an art sculpture that demonstrates how humans have the ability to impact nature. Participants spontaneously interact with the piece as it simulates an immersive micro-environment.

Miami Design District 
Five Echoes by Es Devlin

Nov 30 to Dec 12: “Five Echoes,” which opens during Miami Art Week, will transform the Miami Design District Jungle Plaza into a multisensory labyrinth, surrounded by a lush forest of more than 1,000 plants. The center of the circular sculpture will be illuminated by light and a soundscape developed in collaboration with Chanel’s in-house perfumer Olivier Polge.

The Stroke That Bonds Us

Nov 30 to Dec 5: Where art meets business, Block 1 Art Walls is located in the collaborative work space of Mindwarehouse. It is designed to give emerging local artists an outlet to be seen, to help them in marketing their work and seeing what the demands are in the commercial art market. Free event. 

Intercontinental Hotel 
Cuban Art Exhibit

Dec 1 to 13: Enjoy a custom art week exhibition in the famed Intercontinental Miami lobby. International Curator Noel Santiesteban is converting the lobby into a mini museum featuring Cuban painters, sculptors and live etching. You can experience live art in the making plus meet and greet with artists that will be on hand.

Tokyo Drift Underground Art Soirée

Dec 1: This is an Art Basel night you won't want to miss! Enjoy visual artistic displays, conceptual fashion, Japanese-tuned cars, Japanese-inspired cocktails, fun games, and memorable surprises from our creative friends. Odds Concept will also be featuring collaborative fashion collections with some of the featured artists. DRESS CODE: Be Your Own Anime Stand out in this crowded Tokyo city, and bring along your friends to explore and enjoy a never-before-lived experience.

Art Week Miami Beach Exhibits

Dec 2: The Betsy South Beach, one of the preeminent global arts hotels, embraces Miami Art Week with exhibits and special events. Collections include photography by Jim Krantz, Seydou Keïta, Tamary Kudita, Bunny Yeager, Andy Sweet, and Alessandro Sarno and the work of award-winning conceptual mixed media artist Monika Bravo showcased on The Betsy Orb. Opening night is December 2 where you can meet the artists and enjoy lite bites and jazz piano.

Dec 3: The Haitian Heritage Museum has joined forces with Sugarcane Magazine to host the inaugural “Black Women in Art: The Noire Perspective”. Join this robust discussion about Black Women in Art fostering opportunities, education, and creating lasting legacies. Come listen to thought-provoking conversation from curators, art brokers, art editors, and art educators. Free event.

Homestead Live Arts & Culture Festival

Dec 3 & 4: The Homestead Live Soft Launch Arts & Culture Festival brings art, live music, artisans, businesses and residents together to feel the rhythm of Homestead. This reimagined festival is a cultural destination to shop at a curated vendor market, play at interactive art experiences and much much more!

Pictures at an Exhibition

Dec 4: Composed in 1874 and orchestrated by Maurice Ravel in 1922, Pictures at an Exhibition was inspired by a posthumous show of more than 400 paintings and drawings by Modest Mussorgsky’s close friend, architect and artist Viktor Hartmann, who died in 1873.In this presentation, each of the work’s 10 movements and “promenades” will be paired with more than 50 projected images created by leading contemporary artists as well as original works from the Lowe Art Museum’s permanent collection.

Brunch with the Artist: Julio Larraz

Dec 4: Enjoy mimosas and small bites in celebration of artist Julio Larraz’s first museum retrospective, ‘Julio Larraz; The Kingdom We Carry Inside’, curated by Yuneikys Villalonga, on view at the museum through April 30, 2022. At 11 am, there will be a book signing of Larraz’s most recent and comprehensive retrospective book of the same title, published by Rizzoli New York.

No driving or parking hassles! Relax and enjoy the journey. 

The Metrorail system is a 25-mile dual track that provides service to Miami International Airport (MIA) and runs from Kendall through South Miami, Coral Gables, and downtown Miami; to the Civic Center/Jackson Memorial Hospital area; and to Brownsville, Liberty City, Hialeah, and Medley in northwest Miami-Dade, with connections to Broward and Palm Beach. 

Metromover is a free people mover service that operates seven days a week in the downtown Miami and Brickell area. With more than 20 stops throughout the downtown area it is the perfect way to get around Art Week. 

Miami Trolley

The City of Miami's trolley is a free service that runs through several areas, including some of the most popular Art Week neighborhoods. Click the link or download the app for information on trolley routes, schedules, or to see live tracking of the vehicles. The Trolley is free and accessible to all. 

Brightline is back with full service between Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach.
