DAY OF VOLUNTEERING WITH THE TRIBE
Always a pleasure to host T he Tribe Miami for a day of volunteering. Miami Bridge is proud to collaborate and grateful for their donation of time to our cause. The Tribe cultivates a supportive, stimulating and inclusive environment for South Florida’s diverse young Jewish professionals, empowering them with the skills to become leaders and take positive action in support of our community and beyond. The Tribe members are no stranger s to Miami Bridge, their monthly volunteering puts a smile on our kids' faces.
A DEDICATED LIFE BOOK SIGNING WITH DAVID LAWRENCE JR.
Full house during September 25th book signing for David Lawrence Jr.’s A Dedicated Life: Journalism, Justice and a Chance for Every Child . Miami Bridge CEO, Dr. Dorcas Wilcox had the pleasure to speak with the man himself about his role as an advocate for children. A Dedicated Life comes at a time when people need to be reminded about the importance of serving others and the importance of the role of journalists as truth tellers. His book also serves as a how-to in founding a movement that can change children’s lives for the better and, along with it, our future.
MENTORING MATTERS
Sometimes the simplest things in life bring the biggest smiles. A big thank you to Chef Daniel from our Miami Central Campus and the S&S Global team for teaching our youth how to cook pasta. Mentoring matters. We are so grateful for our Tuesday night mentors who faithfully join us week, after week, after week.
