Pets Thrive in 305 Campaign | |
Join the Animal Services Department’s “Pets Thrive in 305” campaign by volunteering as a pet foster parent. Animal Services urgently needs pet foster parents to care for the large influx of pets at the shelter, and is especially recruiting Kitten Cuddlers volunteers to help care for and feed orphaned newborn kittens (0-2 months old) who need round-the-clock care to stay alive. Train now to become a pet foster parent to ensure that dogs, cats and orphaned kittens in Miami-Dade County remain healthy and have a happy home environment while they wait to find their forever families. Training and the supplies needed to care for the shelter pets and neonate kittens will be provided. Orientation sessions will be held around the County.
Register to attend one of the virtual or in-person foster fair orientation events. Space is limited.
