Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) crews are repairing a raw water main break at the Northwest Wellfield that occurred during contractor work at the location. This raw water main conveys water from the Northwest Well Field to the Preston Water Plant. The north and northeastern
portions of Miami-Dade County may potentially experience intermittent instances of lower-than-normal water pressure during peak demand times in the early morning and evening hours while repairs are completed. Crews are working around the clock on the repairs. The county does not foresee any service interruptions to our area.
We anticipate the work to be completed on or before Thursday, March 30.
