Bash with the Blue
April 25 at Waldruhe Park

The Miami Township Police Department hopes to see you at the first ever Bash with the Blue. Meet the officers, see K-9 Dex in action, a drone demonstration, the bike patrol, and kids can ride on a Safety Town pedal car! There will be food, music and fun. This event is free. Kona Ice will be on hand for purchase. Bring the family for a day of fun on Saturday, April 25, Noon-3 p.m., at Waldruhe Park, 10000 Springboro Pike, across from Austin Landing.

America 250 - Ohio


Miami Township is proud to be an America 250-Ohio community as our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary. In the months ahead, we'll share social media trivia among other events that are in the works. CLICK for more.

Memorial Day flowers


Hillgrove Union Cemetery is once again offering Memorial Day flower arrangements for purchase. Pots are $30 each and will be placed at grave sites May 22-June 1.

Beer and Wine Tasting celebrates 10 years


The Community Foundation of Miami Township is celebrating the tenth year of its Beer and Wine Tasting fundraiser. A special bourbon tasting will be offered this year. The event is Friday, April 24, beginning at 6:30 p.m., at Poelking Lanes South in the VIP Room.

Rotary Recycle Day at Think Patented


The fourth annual Miamisburg Rotary Document Shred Day is set for Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. until noon, at Think Patented, 2490 Crosspointe Drive.


There is no charge to dispose up to five banker boxes of materials for secure shredding. Paperclips, staples and 3-ring binders are fine, but no plastic bags, batteries or electronics. Rotary members will be on hand to assist you until the shredding truck is full. Free, but donations accepted. Open to everyone.

Distracted Driving Month


April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month. The Miami Township Police Department joins the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to remind you to Put the Phone Away or Pay. Put down the phones, don't text and drive or eat while driving. Thanks to an Ohio Traffic Safety grant, the police department will have added patrols looking for distracted drivers April 9 - 13, 2026.

Montgomery County - FYI


All trash loads must now be tarped when visiting the Montgomery County Solid Waste District. This new requirement builds on existing state and local rules and is designed to keep our roadways safer, prevent debris and litter from escaping trucks, and protect our environment and community.
