Bicentennial Logo Contest

Call for entries ends February 21

There is still time to enter the Bicentennial Logo Contest! All you have to do is create an original design that best illustrates Miami Township's heritage and pride.


The winning entry will be the official logo for the township's bicentennial celebration and will be used for our public materials in the months and years ahead. The deadline to submit an entry to contact@miamitownship.com, is Friday, February 21, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.

Trustees shuffle leadership roles for 2025


The Board of Trustees shuffled their leadership roles during the January 7 meeting. Terry Posey, Jr. was appointed president for the coming year. Doug Barry is now vice president while Don Culp, who served as president in 2024, returns as trustee.

Government Center dog tag sales end


Dog tag sales conducted at the Government Center are now over. To purchase tags now, you must visit the Montgomery County Auditor's Office, 451 W. Third Street, or the easiest way to purchase a license is online.

Fans Don't Let Fans Drive Drunk!


The Miami Township Police Department will have added patrols on the road Super Bowl weekend, February 9 - 10, 2025.


Have fun watching the game, but please designate a sober driver, call a ride share, whatever it takes to keep everyone safe!


An 2025 Ohio Public Safety Grant helps fund the campaign.

Meet the MVRPC

The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission supports progress across the region and right here in Miami Township.


It promotes collaboration among communities, stakeholders and residents to help make priority projects a reality. The MVRPC Board of Directors identifies those priorities and develops public policy and collaborative strategies to improve the quality of life throughout the Miami Valley.


Miami Township has collaborated with the MVRPC on various priojects over the years, including funding transportation projects. It is currently assisting with funding for improvements to pedestrian safety along SR 725 near I-75.
