At Your Service - News & Events | |
Leaf collection begins November 4. Public Works crews will complete several rounds of pickup with the final round beginning December 2.
You can help crews by:
-Raking leaves early and placing them at the curb. Leaves too far into the yard slow the process.
-Do not mix in twigs and limbs. The leaf machine is a vacuum, not a chipper. When sticks clog the machinery, crews must stop and risk their safety to clear the debris.
-Do not park on top of the leaves. Crews cannot reach them. They will leave a note that they were unable to pick them up.
-Do not get near the trucks. They are dangerous.
-Crews cannot wait for a resident who is raking while they are working. They must stay on schedule.
Thank you to those residents who give crews water and treats! They truly appreciate it.
A daily update is available on our website. You will find where crews are working each day and where they are headed. So, have those leaves out to the curb by December 2. Click for more.
