Dear  ,

As the school year begins to wind down, our team is reflecting on this year and looking forward to and planning for next.

We are proud of our wide-ranging programs which continue to ignite a passion for Jewish learning among students of all ages, interests and abilities.

We are committed to providing access to ancient wisdom through a modern lens.  Our printable family guides, kids' activity pages, thematic resources and Jewish Community Library continue to receive high praise and positive feedback.

We are grateful to the community who sustains this work - the foundations, families and individuals who support us financially and who prioritize learning from and with our team of master educators.

We believe that Jewish wisdom makes our lives richer.  We believe that access to and engagement with foundational Jewish knowledge helps us be better humans.

Thank you for being on this journey with us! For opening our newsletters, joining us at public events and inviting our team into your institutions, schools and classrooms to help you change the way Jewish learning works.

The Jewish LearningWorks Team
Special Event

Sunday May 21st 3:00-5:00pm at the Jewish Community Library
Award-winning author Michael Chabon in conversation with Dan Schifrin
Moonglow  unfolds as the deathbed confession of the narrator's grandfather, whose tongue has been loosened by painkillers and whose memory has been by stirred by the imminence of death. From the Jewish slums of prewar South Philadelphia to the American invasion of Germany to the heyday of the space program, the novel revisits an entire era through a single life and collapses a lifetime into a single week.

A work of fictional autobiography,
Moonglow , above all, is about the destructive impact and the creative power of keeping secrets and telling lies.
