Join us First Friday night for what is sure to be a great night. Michael Coyne is coming back to Scituate Harbor. The Welch Company is so honored to be hosting the talented Scituate artist, Michael Coyne, on First Friday, June 7th. He will be bringing a number of his original paintings, including the canvas featured above ~ "Satuit Marsh." We now carry his limited edition signed and numbered giclee prints, just in case an original isn't in your budget.
Michael, was born in 1963 in the coastal town of Scituate, Massachusetts. His professional career as an artist began with freelance illustration, product design and print work for books. Ultimately, this led to mural installations in private homes to large commissioned pieces from corporate clients such as Miller Beer, Kajunga Arts, and F-1 Boston. Working in a representational style, his seascapes and landscapes of the rocky shorelines and salt marshes of the South Shore to Cape Cod and the Islands are the subject of Michael's Oil Paintings.
