Michael W. Obenauf Joins Wilde Wealth Management Group
as Investment Advisor Representative
(Scottsdale, Ariz. – May 20, 2019) – Wilde Wealth Management Group, an award-winning independent financial advisory firm with offices in Scottsdale, Tempe, Glendale, Payson, Tucson and Indiana, is pleased to announce Michael W. Obenauf has joined the firm as an investment adviser representative. In his role, Obenauf will focus on wealth management, retirement income planning and asset protection planning. He will work from the firm’s Scottsdale office, which is located at 7025 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite 115.
“Michael is a coach at heart, actually coaching youth hockey in his spare time, in fact. His approach to client service is to educate versus dictate, talking to each client versus at them. That, combined with belief in the importance of tailoring investment strategies and actuarial science to effectively accomplish unique financial planning needs, attracted us to him immediately,” said Trevor Wilde, MBA, AIF®, managing director of Wilde Wealth Management.
Obenauf earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. At his prior firm, where he worked in financial services, he was named “Rookie of the Year” in 2016.

Community minded himself, Obenauf was recently appointed to the Scottsdale Active 20-30 Club. The organization is comprised of 50 men between the ages of 20 and 40 that are business and community leaders. The primary focus of the organization is philanthropic fundraising to support local children's charities.
An Illinois native, Obenauf has resided in Scottsdale since 2016.
