Spotlight on Mary Moore⭐

A Lifetime of Competition and Community

At 93 years old, Mary Moore bowled an impressive 193 at the state tournament last weekend. Her love of sport goes back much further than her time on the lanes.

In the 1950s, Mary played in the All‑American Girls Professional Baseball League, a groundbreaking league of more than 600 women across 10 teams. She first suited up for the Battle Creek Belles before moving to South Bend. At its peak in 1948, the league drew nearly 900,000 spectators.

We are honored to celebrate her remarkable story and her continued passion for competition.
