Did You Participate In Last Month's Survey?

The correct answer was 70–90. Every year, more than 70 prize checks are returned due to incorrect or incomplete information.

Taking a few extra moments to verify your information can help ensure your prize checks and other important mail reach you.

How to Make Sure Your Prize Check Reaches You

  1. Write legibly on your certification card. Most of the errors are simply because the association manager cannot read the writing.
  2. Make sure the card is complete – including phone number, email address, and birthdate. Each of these become important during the season, especially for tournaments.
  3. If you want to be sure your information is correct, certify yourself through the bowl.com app under ‘bowlers’ ‘join USBC’.
  4. This feature will open on Saturday, August 1 for the new season.
  5. Yes, there is a processing fee, but you are sure the information is correct.
  6. You will still need to fill out a card for each league that you bowl in to be sure that you get an end-of-season average. Just fill out and sign – no money is involved unless you are in a different association than the one you already paid for.

New Hall of Fame Category Coming Soon

Michigan State USBC will introduce a new “Professional” Hall of Fame category for pro bowlers who represent Michigan on tour. Applications will be available online in 2027.
