Michigan Learning and Education Advancement Program

|
The Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) recently awarded Michigan Works! West Central more than $500,000 to respond to the economic impact of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Through the Michigan Learning and Education Advancement Program (MiLEAP), we are able to help job seekers make the jump from education and training to employment by delivering short- and mid-term customized training solutions!
MiLEAP grants have been awarded to only 10 groups across the state that will work with regional partners to support individuals who are dislocated, underemployed, serving as essential workers, living in distressed rural and urban communities, or economically disadvantaged. The goal of MiLEAP is to get Michigan back to work by helping job seekers find education and training programs in high-skill, high-wage careers that result in industry-recognized credentials and reduced educational debt!
Let our MiLEAP Navigator help you overcome any barriers to education, identify resources, and provide the guidance and support you need to advance your training and career!
