Microplate flatness

A key feature of Aurora plates is flatness which leads to significant improvement in optical imaging applications minimizing mechanical refocusing. This becomes a very significant feature when 1000’s of wells are being imaged. 

The flatness of the entire 127mm top surface length of an Aurora plate is less than 0.1mm. Meaning that dispensers can be positioned very close to the well rims during dispensing, ensuring accurate delivery of liquids to the correct wells.

By employing high-performance materials (Cyclo-Olefin Polymer) and advanced production methods, we create the cleanest, flattest, and most static-free plates available.
