Cavaliers Set Records & The All Hail Match!
Nothing like being able to say, "I was part of a Serra High School Alumni Record and then I attended football games and basketball games for free with my ALL HAIL! Card."
When you click here, you can order your ALL HAIL! Card for as little as $61 which becomes $91.50 to Serra.. Don't be shy about investing more....see below for tax reasons to donate more.

Last year when the Alumni was faced with losing revenue from the cancellation of the Cavalier Golf Classic, (If you are a golfer, put July 23rd on your calendar) the reunions and other events, we established the ALL HAIL! Campaign to raise 40k. An old Alum soon volunteered to match 50 cents for every dollar raised up to 40k. Well, we raised the 40k and the Alum sent the 20K match. This allowed us to break the Alumni Donation Record of $250K and set a record of 281K.
This year, the same Alumnus volunteered and said, "If the Alumni can raise 80K, I'll make the 50 cent match again."
We are off to a great start. We are at 33.3K and we have until May 29th to reach the goal. The only thing better than being a part of a record setting team is to be a part of 2 record setting teams.

Where will your money go? Unless other wise directed, it goes to Alumni Scholarships/Tuition Assistance. Click here to read more.
Deductible Even If You Don't Itemize
Even if you do not itemize deductions, your charitable donation up to $300 will be tax deductible for tax year 2021. Serra receives $450 including the matching gift. It costs a donor in the 22% bracket $234.

A SWAG Story.
Bria Richardson '11 was an Honors student at Serra, was ALL CIF twice and led the Lady CAVS to a CIF Championship in 2010-11. She went on to Pepperdine where she continued her basketball career and was named to the WCC All Academic team 2 years in a row. After graduation, Bria played pro basketball in Germany and worked for Malteser International. She returned to the States, worked as a grad assistant for the the Waves women's basketball team and earned a master's degree. She then became Academic Coordinator for men's/women's basketball and baseball teams. Today Bria is an account manager for the On Board Experiential Marketing Agency where she produces events for JP Morgan Chase and Nike. Bria is on the job below and is first row front and center.
464K Grant Received
Serra received a 464K Grant for computers for all teachers, labs, the new student center, (more on the new student center soon) projectors for all classrooms, the Dwan Hurt Memorial Gym, room 405 and the cafeteria. In addition iPads for all students and teachers are included. A recent gift from an alumnae permitted Serra to upgrade its wireless access points to get ready for this system improvement.
Life Team: A REASON FOR SERRA'S SUCCESS!
Last year, 80% of our graduating seniors reported that their most valuable experience at Serra was their experience at Campus Ministry retreats. Campus Ministry includes LIFE Team, the Campus Ministry Choir and the school wide requirement for Christian Service hours. With these kinds of experiences at Serra, it is no surprise Serra graduates are successful.
Below are pictures of the Senior Retreat held on April16th & 17th. We have a limited number of the Retreat Journals. For a copy, email vbkates@la-serrahs.org
