Hello, Lake Forest! And Thanks for the Warm Welcome!

For those of you who I haven’t met yet, my name is Ben Roesler (RAY-sler) and I’m Lake Forest’s new Director of Human Resources. I’ve met many of you over the last three weeks, and it’s been heartening to hear how many of you love working for the City. My goal over the next few months is to meet the entire Lake Forest team, learn more about you individually, and how I can help make Lake Forest the best place to work in local government. Truth be told, it’s already a great place, so I’m excited to hear your ideas and get creative.

Feel free to drop by my office and introduce yourself if you have the chance. Thanks again for the warm welcome, and I look forward to getting to know each of you.

August is National “Make-a-Will” Month

Wills aren't about doom and gloom; estate planning is about empowerment and peace of mind.

A will protects loved ones by naming a guardian for minor children or ensuring care for pets. It gives you control over your financial and real estate plans, preventing the courts from making those decisions.

As one of Lake Forest’s employee assistance programs, LegalShield offers will preparation and power of attorney services to all who enroll.

To learn more about LegalShield plans or to enroll , visit Citylf.org or stop by Human Resources.
