December at Frost Science Museum
December 15: Winter Wonderland
Explore how colder temperatures impact states of matter in our Let It Snow live show, when we use liquid nitrogen, at a frosty -321F°, to freeze everyday objects and explore what happens to them. Then explore snowflakes under a microscope as you discover the role math plays in nature before visiting our A Mirror Maze: Numbers in Nature exhibition.

, we’ll be rocking out with a retro throwback to the classic laser light spectacles you know and love. From Pink Floyd to Daft Punk, we’re fusing music from some of the greatest artists of our time with old-school laser light visuals—all under the Planetarium’s 67-foot dome.

: Calling all creators, explorers, artists and inventors! Spend winter break becoming the next maker by tinkering with gadgets and inventions of your own creation, including sewing circuits, paper bots and more.
