My dear brothers,
As we are in the grip of winter I encourage you to attend meetings and share an enjoyable time with fellow brothers. The district lodges are putting on many degrees they would love to see you attend.
I always talk about brothers traveling to different lodges as you would meet different brothers and have an enjoyable evening. On the flip side of that I want to say that when brothers visit your lodge welcome your Masonic brothers with open arms and enjoy their visit.
We have different committee's here in the district and if you or your lodge would like to hear more about a particular one contact your secretary and he will either contact the chairman or myself and we will schedule a visit. The chairmen are visiting different lodges to update the brothers on the work of their committee's.

Is your Lodge on Our Lodge Page yet? Why not?
The same people that brought you MORI for the secretary also bring Our Lodge Page - Mid Hudson District a system to announce events and for brothers not only of your lodge, but for brothers in the District and to allow them to RSVP. We encourage every lodge in the district to utilize Our Lodge Page to advertise their degrees and other events. This editor also uses it to identify events for publishing in the newsletter

| Rhinebeck Lodge No 432 has been busy traveling. They reclaimed the Traveling Gavel from Adonai Lodge on April 22. |
Is it time for your lodge to claim it? Rhinebeck Lodge meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 7:30pm at 6472 Montgomery St in Rhinebeck, NY 12572. Your next opportunity would be February 5th or February 19th.
To claim the gavel, a lodge from the Mid-Hudson District must have 5 brothers present, including either the Master or one of the Wardens. If multiple lodges qualify, the one with the most brothers in attendance will claim the gavel. Ties are broken by the lodge that traveled the furthest. These are the only requirements to claim the gavel. The start of the Traveling Gavel
