Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Chamber of Commerce office, Visitor Centre and Tourism Marketing including staff, volunteer, and budget management.

Policies discussion hosted by BC Chamber aims to improve the
business climate in our region
On July 23rd, 11 chambers of commerce from the Thompson-Okanagan met with 18 government representatives—including Deputy Ministers and Assistant Deputy Ministers across 12 ministries —to discuss both local and pan-provincial issues affecting businesses in the region.
The network presented its policies (adopted at the 2019 BC Chamber AGM), which contained specific recommendations to government.

A Creative Local Food Challenge...with Prizes!
Revelstoke Local Food Initiative is encouraging the community to harvest, cook and eat as much local food as possible while our market and gardens are abundant. Snap a photo of your meal or dish and share using hashtag #revylocalfood to inspire us all!
LFI invites restaurants and other businesses get involved! Promote the local food you already use or create a new dish for this event.
Three winners will be chosen at random from the pool of photos and awarded a gift certificate to the LFI farmer's market or some LFI swag.
The workshop will provide staff from Local Government, Tourism Stakeholders, and Outdoor Recreation Professionals & Practitioners an introduction of skills and knowledge to incorporate universal design into programming, facility design, construction and maintenance programs for parks, recreation, business, and civic facilities.
