The Situation!
In normal times Serra's families have a need for tuition assistance. Normal went away last year when the pandemic hit. The normal needs suddenly increased. Our families had lost jobs, family businesses have been hurt and some destroyed. The times were no longer normal.

At this time last year we had scheduled the '70, the '80, the Old Timers/Legends reunions and the Cavalier Classic Golf Tournament. In normal times these events would have contributed to Alumni and our other tuition assistance scholarships. All were postponed. Alumni/Advancement had to adapt. What were we to do?
The Solution! Let's Set A Record!
To see if we could replace the losses, we began the ALL HAIL! Campaign. For $61 or more, the donor received an All Hail Card. For $201 or more, an Alumnus could buy their Alumni Tile or, as some did, buy a Tile for a friend, a daughter or a son. Soon after we began the All Hail! campaign, an Alumnus notified us that he would match every Alumni donation of a dollar with an additional 50 cents up to 40K. Because of the match we will set an Alumni donation record. More importantly, were able to help many families.
This year, our secret donor has agreed to do it again....with an exception. He will donate 50 cents on the dollar up to, not 40K, but $80K. If we do this, you will be a part of a new Alumni donation record!
Click here to buy your ALL Hail! Card, your Alumni Tile or to donate any amount and be a part of the ALL HAIL! Match through May 30th! You can have a real impact on Serra students and families.
(You can specify your donation to something other that Alumni Scholarships/Tuition Assistance. Contact us for options.)
Cavaliers Begin the Record Setting Pace!
As soon as they learned The All Hail! Campaign would begin, former Serra students and now faculty members Joe McDorman '91, Tim Boyer '70 and McKinsey Hadley are lined up to hand their All Hail! donations
to Principal Jeff Guzman and begin the record setting pace.

The Latest from SWAG
SWAG member Martina Giles '08 has emerged with a new
business that was born out of the pandemic. Martina reports that,
"I was living in Oregon when the pandemic hit. Due to the change, I moved back to California and had time to ponder what I wanted to do next. While the pandemic posed an obstacle, I decided to use it as an opportunity to begin my candle business "In My Feels." I've had the opportunity to live in a few different places boasting majestic sceneries and various adventures. Every candle is inspired by different life experiences and my favorite feels. I hope to provide an experience with curated scents and candle storytelling" says Martina.
