We are providing information links from a wide range of sources, including SCORE, SBA, the CDC, the Wilmington Business Journal, and the Chamber of Commerce. Some of the information may overlap, or be slightly out of date, but we hope this consolidation of information will be helpful for you, your family, and your small business.

Greater Wilmington Business Journal
This past Friday, the Journal launched “BizTalk”, a Facebook Live discussion with two local HR officials about how employers should think about work-from-home policies and other timely topics. You can see the discussion  here . They will have additional BizTalk events this coming week. Also note, they are lifting their paywall so everyone can see their full coverage here .

Local Workshops, Events, and SCORE Mentoring Sessions
Regarding our Simple Steps for Starting Your Business, a Free 5-part workshop series scheduled to begin March 24th, as of now, our hosts at Cape Fear Community College have not yet canceled it. Please refer here for more info and here to register.

Many workshops and events in Wilmington have been canceled so please check with the venue before you head out. WilmingtonBiz Expo, scheduled for March 18th, has been postponed to September 30th.

SCORE Mentoring Sessions. Mentors are available to participate in remote mentoring sessions via phone, email and video. If you already have a SCORE mentor, ask them if you can use a remote mentoring method for your sessions. If you don’t already have a mentor, you can find a business mentor today.
