We invite you to join the Conway Public Library staff on Thursday, April 16, at 5:30 PM in the Periodical Room for a thoughtful discussion. This New York Times bestseller thoughtfully explores the significance of childhood play and independent exploration, as well as the transition from a play-based childhood to one dominated by screens. It delves into the implications of this shift on mental health and offers constructive suggestions for the future.

This gathering will serve as an enriching opportunity to share insights, learn from each other’s perspectives, and connect as a community. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, or educator of young children, teens, or young adults, or if you are interested in the rapid evolution of social media in our society, we warmly welcome your participation in this discussion.

Extra copies of "The Anxious Generation" will be behind the front desk. Also know you don't have to read the entire book to join in this discussion.

We will also outline what families need to prepare before a death occurs, the benefits of pre-planning, how it works in Massachusetts, and practical next steps such as scattering, burial, keepsakes, and eco-friendly alternatives. This information is designed to help attendees make informed and confident decisions for themselves and their loved ones.
