LAFCU welcomes David Ostrowski as enterprise project manager | |

LANSING, Mich. — LAFCU announces the appointment of David Ostrowski to enterprise project manager of the Michigan credit union.
Ostrowski is responsible for overseeing the overall direction, implementation, execution, control and project management of enterprise-wide projects. This includes ensuring consistency with LAFCU's strategic direction, commitments to service, and goals. He takes projects from initial concept through final implementation, defining project scope and charter, and developing detailed breakdowns of deliverables, timelines, schedules, cost estimates, and resource requirements.
“David's expertise lies in service delivery, project management, resource management, and process improvement, all of which have consistently contributed to his success in optimizing organizational performance and client satisfaction throughout his career,” said Ryan Larson, director of professional services at LAFCU. "His wealth of experience and dedication to project management will undoubtedly contribute to LAFCU’s continued success in serving our members and communities."
Before joining LAFCU, Ostrowski worked for Ceridian HCM Inc., a global human capital management software company, where he advanced three times over a 10-year span–starting as a senior business systems analyst and finishing as the senior delivery manager implementation operations, global consulting practices. Prior to Ceridian, he gained diverse experience across financial analysis and reporting roles, having worked with notable organizations such as Health Plan Services, Inc., Citi Group Inc., Global Strategic Connections LLC, SG Capital Group LLC, and Huntington Management LLC.
A resident of Brighton, Ostrowski earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on finance and information systems management from Wayne State University's Mike Ilitch School of Business. He has attained several certifications including Professional of Human Resources certification (PHR), Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager, ITIL Foundations Certification v4 and Scrum Master certification.
“My focus is on enhancing the way we execute projects at LAFCU to help achieve our strategic objective of providing exceptional value to our LAFCU members and the communities we serve,” said Ostrowski.

LANSING, Mich. — LAFCU has named Zachary (Zach) Emerson mortgage loan officer, and Brook Jones commercial loan officer.
“Expanding our team of loan officers at LAFCU is instrumental in enhancing our ability to provide personalized service and tailored financial solutions to our members,” said Jason Smith, chief lending officer, LAFCU. “With the addition of more experts like Zachary Emerson and Brook Jones, we can better meet the diverse needs of our members, ensuring they receive the support and guidance necessary to achieve their financial goals.”
Zach Emerson’s primary responsibility as a mortgage loan officer is actively growing LAFCU’s mortgage portfolio through strategic activities, including networking, hosting seminars, and developing and maintaining relationships with area professionals.
Prior to joining LAFCU, Emerson worked as an electronic enrollment analyst for Delta Dental of Michigan, where he managed eligibility for more than 200 commercial clients. Emerson earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.
“I want to make a positive impact on as many lives as possible, even in the slightest way,” noted Emerson. “I am most excited about helping families in Michigan achieve the dream of homeownership.”
As commercial loan officer, Brook Jones assists current and potential LAFCU members with their lending needs by providing a comprehensive range of products and overseeing loan applications to ensure a seamless and reliable lending experience for all borrowers.
Prior to joining LAFCU, Jones served as assistant vice president of business banking relationship manager at PNC Bank in Lansing, Michigan, where he was responsible for overseeing 200 clients and maintaining those business relationships. He also worked at Bank of America N.A. as a mortgage loan officer and small business relationship manager.

Jones earned a bachelor’s degree in professional communication from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan, and an associate degree from Lansing Community College.
