2016 Connecticut Arts Day at the Capitol!
The Connecticut Office of the Arts, in partnership with the Connecticut Arts Alliance and our 9 regional service organizations, are planning to bring back Connecticut Arts Day at the Capitol on March 2nd, 2016. The last time this event took place was in 2002! Anyone interested in our Arts and Cultural Sector is invited to attend Arts Day to celebrate and underscore the importance of investing in Connecticut's Arts and Cultural landscape to our legislators.

CTH is making changes in the new year. Starting with the January 4, 2016 deadline, the maximum award for the
monthly
Quick Grants
will increase from $1,500 to $4,999. All other grant lines (
Capacity
,
Planning
, and
Implementation
requests, from $5,000-$50,000) will have quarterly application deadlines of the first business day of February, May, August, and November.

to bring their Matched Savings Program to CT.
Only 10 spots available in CT! Applications are due in December.
NOTE
: "Non-rural" artists in Connecticut (and those who do not meet the income requirements for the matched savings program)
may still be able to participate in training opportunities
in the spring/summer 2016. Interested artists should join the A4A email list to be sure that they'll be notified about upcoming CT workshops.

The Southeastern Connecticut Cultural Coalition is searching for an entrepreneurial, business-focused Assistant Director who has experience with arts/cultural/heritage organizations and nonprofit management and understands the sector's role as an economic driver. This Assistant Director will provide a strong community presence, promote partnerships with other organizations, and advance the Coalition's mission. Deadline: December 11, 2015.
