A quick mid-November update
Don't forget that tomorrow afternoon is our Art & Craft Swap. Details are below... I hope all you crafty people out there will join us.

We also JUST scheduled a Grown-Up Story Hour for next week! It's been a bit of a challenge getting these events scheduled for many reasons, but they are always a personal favorite for me. I hope to get us on a more regular schedule after the first of the year.

We'll be closed on November 25 and 26 for Thanksgiving. Be sure to plan ahead and pick up some books for your long weekend or some puzzles and games to play with the family. Board games are more fun than fighting about politics, right?

I'm so thankful for all of our library friends. Wishing you all a very happy Thanksgiving!

Art & Craft Swap TOMORROW

Do you have more craft supplies than you know what to do with? Want to try something new but don't want to invest in a lot of materials? Need to de-stash and make room for new things? Well, mark your calendars, crafty friends!

The library will be holding an Art & Craft Swap on Friday, November 12 at 1:00 p.m. Bring your unneeded art and craft supplies to share. Pick up some extra supplies from others. There are no rules – this is a free, “bring what you have, take what you will use” event. Anything left at the end of the day will be donated to a resale shop or disposed of.

Don't have anything to contribute? That's 100% OK! You are welcome to come and take anything you can use from others.
Grown Up Story Hour

Join us for another Grown Up Story Hour on Thursday, November 18 at 6:00 p.m. at a location new to us, the Cranberry Inn! This is always a fun event for anyone who likes listening to or reading short stories, essays, and poetry. Try it out - I think you'll enjoy it! More details are on our website.
Computer Classes

On Monday, November 22 at 11:00 a.m. (note the time change!), join us for an Introduction to Google Drive. More and more people tell me they're being asked to use Google Drive by their work or community organizations, so we thought we'd do an introduction to this powerful and FREE suite of tools. Visit our website for more details.

We aren't planning any computer classes for December since most of us have other things on our minds then. "Tech Tuesday" appointments are still available by calling the library at 715-476-2366, although availability will be somewhat limited for the next month or so. Stay tuned for classes on Microsoft Word and Excel coming in January. You're welcome to attend no matter what your skill level!
November Book Club schedule

Our two Book Clubs each meet once a month, and new members are always welcome to join us! Copies of the books are available to borrow from the library.

Library Covid policies

Following the latest recommendations from the CDC and the Iron County Health Department, masks are recommended for all library visitors.

Please do not enter the library if you are exhibiting any symptoms of concern, including cough, congestion, shortness of breath, sore throat, fever or chills, fatigue, muscle aches, or a new loss of taste or smell. Please also do not visit the library if you have been instructed by your doctor or public health officials to isolate or quarantine due to covid exposure.

Our WiFi network is available 24/7 and is accessible from the parking lot and our outdoor seating area. Curbside service is also available to anyone by request. Just call us at 715-476-2366 to let us know what you need, and we'll be happy to help.
