What an amazing first month of dance for Belliston Academy! We are so excited to welcome 31 new students to our Belliston family this month! Say hello to an unfamiliar face and introduce yourself to someone new.

Belliston Academy's NEW App Now Available!

We are SO excited to officially launch our NEW BELLISTON ACADEMY APP!! WOOP WOOP! It is an exciting day indeed!

Head over to the App Store or Google Play to download our studio app today! This will be the quickest and easiest way to receive studio updates, notifications and class messages. You can also manage your Parent Portal account straight from the app and get access to all the studio information you may need!

Parking Lot Traffic

As many of you know, pick up and drop off can be very crowded in the parking lot around 5:30/6:30 pm. We ask that moving forward, all parents follow the traffic pattern below for pick up and drop off. This is truly for the safety of your dancers as they are walking in and out of the building and so no cars get blocked in the parking lot.

Drop Off/Pick up:

Please drive around the south side of the building and come up along the west side. Drop off and pick up lane will be along the bushes next the the studio building. If you are trying to park or go around the drop off/pick up lane, please use the left side of the parking lot to pass.

Please do not turn right immediately into the lot. Please be sure to go around the building. :) Thank you!

Bring-A-Friend Week- Oct. 25th-30th

We are very excited for Bring-A-Friend Week! Our Belliston students get to invite a friend (or two) to as many of their eligible classes as they want. Just simply have your friend fill out a permission slip located in the lobby and attached below and bring it with them on the day of your class.

(RAD, CCA, Pointe, Pointe Conditioning and Repertoire classes are NOT eligible)

Don't forget to dress in COSTUME! This is a great time to showcase your creativity by wearing your Halloween costume to class. Costumes are allowed in all classes during BRING-A-FRIEND week! Don’t miss out on this exciting week of dance!!

Dancer of the Month!

Each month, three teachers will be asked to nominate one student who they feel is doing a great job in and out of the classroom. If you see one of these dancers in the hall, congratulate them on a job well done!

Alianna

Miss Andrea

Ms. Andrea's dancer of the month is Alianna. Alianna comes to class ready to work. She is full of energy, positivity and enthusiasm to discover and learn new things. She receives feedback gracefully and makes changes to improve her dance technique every week. We look forward to seeing her growth and development.

Miss Jen

Violet and Darcie are the dynamic duo chosen as Miss Jen's students this month! Both Darcie and Violet are a little later to the CCA game than most of their peers. Turns out, it was just the right time for them! These girls are clever, tenacious, and focused. They are not only testing for grade one, but grade two as well in October. Miss Jen has watched these two do a fantastic job at not only supporting their own learning goals, but really supporting each other as well. Looking forward to seeing you grow, Violet and Darcie!

Kate

Miss Alex

Miss Alex's dancer of the month is Kate. Kate has danced at Belliston for a couple years and has grown leaps and bounds. Not only in her dance technique but also in her maturity. Kate is bright and full of ideas and analogies that help the entire class. She is always prepared with a beautiful bun and all of her dance attire ready to learn! She is even participating in her first year of Belliston Ballet's, The Nutcracker and has been eager to learn so many parts!
