Strong communities are built on connection, and in Warm Springs, Sue Matters and KWSO Radio help make that happen every day. Recently recognized through the Pay It Forward program.
Sue was honored for her commitment to keeping the community informed, engaged, and connected. Under her leadership, KWSO shares important local news through radio broadcasts, a community website, social media, and partnerships with local schools. Students from the Warm Springs K-8 Academy even lend their voices to daily news segments, helping neighbors stay informed while encouraging the next generation of community storytellers.
At Mid Oregon, we believe information is a powerful tool for building stronger communities. We're inspired by organizations like KWSO that meet people where they are and make sure local voices are heard. Congratulations to Sue on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you to KWSO Radio for helping keep the Warm Springs community connected and informed.
