We made it through our first two weeks of DANCE!
WOW! What an incredible first two weeks back to dance!!
Your dancers energy and smiles are everything as we are back in the studio!

We would like to take a moment to WELCOME our 20 new families at Belliston Academy. If you see a new face in the lobby or in class be sure to say HELLO!!
Reb3l Groove (Adults Only)- New Class Time
Have you tried Reb3l Groove at Belliston? Reb3l Groove is for ADULTS ONLY! It's a high intensity boot camp style dance fitness workout. A fusion of hard hitting choreography, HIIT mechanics and powerful (and PG-13) music!

Now through the end of September we are inviting all new Reb3l Groove dancers to join us for class ON US! This means class is free to you for the next two weeks! This offer is valid to new Reb3l dancers only.

Reb3l Groove Class Schedule-

Tuesday @ 9:15 am (NEW DAY/TIME)
Wednesday @ 7:30 pm
Saturday @ 8:00 am
Lobby/ Pick-Up & Drop-Off
Although our lobby is now open, we ask that while it's nice out that we continue pick-up and drop-off at the front door. We will be sure to have a staff member stationed at the front door to ensure a safe hand off. This will help keep the lobby less congested and busy during class transitions. Keeping the lobby closed last year seemed to work really well to keep everyone healthy and we would like to continue this as much as possible.

Feel free to come in if you have a question, need help in Dancer's Closet or just want to say hello! Then we ask that you meet your dancers at the front door for pick-up. Thank you so much for understanding!
Required Class Attire
We would like to remind everyone that dress code is extremely important here at Belliston Academy. Dancers are required to wear a black leotard and pink tights to every class (RAD requires proper colored leotard and character attire). All dancers must have hair tied back in a bun and out of your face.

This is also a reminder that all students are to be dressed in street clothes coming in and out of building. 

A lot of our DC inventory is on backorder. If you come in and we do not have an item in stock we please be patient as we are waiting for multiple shipments to arrive.

Dancers Closet Fall Hours
Thank you so much for coming in to Dancer's Closet during hours and for being so patient with us! The last two weeks have been very busy downstairs and we know some of you may be waiting for items to arrive. With many distributors experiencing delays, many of your dancers supplies are on back order. We ask that you check in regularly to see if the items you need are back in stock.

Meet our Newest Teachers
Melissa Dahms

Melissa is a Belliston alumni and danced here for 10 years. She was part of the Pre Professional Scholarship program, competed in Denver Ballet Guild and participated in Belliston Ballet's, The Nutcracker. Her favorite role she danced was the Snow Queen in The Nutcracker in 2018.

After high school, Melissa studied dance at Colorado State University and was most recently a trainee student with State Street Ballet for their 2020/21 season. Melissa is still working on pursuing her dance career and in the meantime she is back to work with the wonderful students of Belliston Academy!

We are so excited to have Melissa home to teach Contemporary Modern and Pointe Conditioning!
Sophia Frainier

Sophia grew up in Littleton, Colorado and started dancing at the age of 3. She danced at Columbine High School as a Varsity Pom. In college, Sophia was on the Golden Poms dance team at Colorado State University for all 4 years and was captain her senior year! This year, she is a rookie on the Denver Broncos Cheer team! We are so excited to watch her cheer on the sidelines at every home Broncos game!

In her free time, she loves to spend time with her friends, walk her dogs, and teach! She is a kindergarten teacher and is also a coach of the Columbine Poms. She is so excited to be teaching at Belliston this year and join the Belliston family!

Miss Sophia is amazing and talented in so many areas. We are so excited to have her at Belliston teaching our Beginning Jazz/Tap students.

Sloane Smith

Sloane is a senior and a part of the International Baccalaureate program at Littleton High School. Sloane has been dancing since she was 3 years old and will be entering her fourth year at Belliston. She was a part of the Pre Professional program at Belliston for one year and has studied at the Next Generation Ballet summer intensive this past summer. This upcoming year will be Sloane’s fourth year performing in The Nutcracker as well. When she is not dancing, Sloane is spending time with her family and friends.

We are so excited to welcome Sloane on staff and giving her the opportunity to teach your beautiful dancers Pre Primary and Primary RAD. Sloane is so excited for this upcoming year and hopes to pursue her love of dance!
