Support LP&CT in the Team 2020 Silent Auction!

The Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce and Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union have joined forces to create one fundraiser to help many. We have been chosen as one of the  20+ nonprofit organizations throughout the Merrimack Valley to be a part of TEAM 2020.

Check out the unique silent auction items, donate an item to support LP&CT, or donate individually - you won't want to miss these items!
Exhibit ends 7/26: Benefits of Lowell's Urban Environments
Immerse yourself in the beauty of Lowell - through art!

Visit the on-line exhibit " The Benefits of Lowell's Urban Environment", hosted by The Brush Art Gallery & Studios. This exhibit is a collection of photos, paintings, and posters resulting from a series of activities designed to bring awareness of the urban environment to our community.

Funded by the Theodore Edson Parker Foundation, the series included partnerships with Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust, Lowell Cemetery, Lowell National Historical Park, and Lowell High School.

Bringing the Outdoor Classroom to Local Homes
We believe that environmental education is critical

That is why our 2020 Summer programs with Lowell Leaders in Stewardship at Lowell Public Schools have gone virtual. Students are sent at-home activities, get to observe live animals from our partners at Mass Audubon Drumlin Farm, and so much more! Check out our Facebook for more photos and updates on the students' progress.

LP&CT and Mass Audubon teachers engage virtually with the Bartlett summer students. Here they are showing off their owl observation drawings!
Our TREES Seniors Are Off to Great Places
Oh the places they'll go!

We've enjoyed building long-term relationships with these students that have participated in our after-school programming throughout high school. Some of them we've known since before high school. Now they are off to the next chapter of their lives to do extraordinary things: nursing, environmental studies, STEM-based careers, and more - these individuals shine inside-and-out.

We can't wait to see all of the wonderful things they will accomplish - and are even more grateful that some are staying local and participating in our first ever Environmental Youth Task Force (EYTF) with the Lowell National Historical Park, Mass Audubon Drumlin Farm, & the Smithsonian Institution.

Youvanny is focusing on participating in our Environmental Youth Task Force (EYTF) with The Lowell National Historical Park, Mass Audubon Drumlin Farm, and The Smithsonian Institute.

Congratulations T.R.E.E.S.
