Dear Karen,
The mid-terms elections are 3 weeks away and many are unaware how very close we are to seeing our state flipped to Democrat as very liberal Joy Hofmeister surges ahead in the polls. If you are praying for revival and for protection over our Constitutional freedoms then it is imperative that each of us votes and votes with wisdom and knowledge. Here is information to assist you in that endeavor.
EARLY VOTING: Wednesday, Nov. 2 - Saturday, Nov. 5
ELECTION DAY: Tuesday, Nov. 8
HERE ARE MY RECOMMENDATIONS
Just because a candidate runs as a Republican/conservative doesn’t mean they are. A current liberal strategy is to run as a Republican but then legislate as a Democrat. BE WISE. We now have an incoming Attorney General who claimed he is a Republican but his political donation to Biden and what he supports says otherwise. We will certainly pay the price.
GOVERNOR
Kevin Stitt - R
The negative (and lying) ads that Hofmeister has sent out about Stitt have been effective. At least 30% of Republicans are now saying they will vote for her. We need to get this guide and information into the hands of all of our friends to wake them up to who she really is.
Joy Hofmeister, who just recently changed her designation from Republican to Democrat has ALWAYS been a Democrat as far as her beliefs and actions. Under her reign as State School Superintendent, Oklahoma public schools were listed between #46-#50 (depending which survey you read) of the 50 states. Not to mention the numerous scandals that have followed her throughout her "service" to Oklahoma. It would be a travesty to have this woman “leading” our state.
Remember the Democrats are known for stating against their opponents what is true of themselves. A vote for Hofmeister is a vote against freedom and scandals will certainly follow as they follow her.
LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR
Matt Pinnell – R
ATTORNEY GENERAL
Lynda Steele – Libertarian
There are no good choice here, but we need to vote for someone.
The other choice is RINO Gentner Drummond who has vowed that he will fight Gov. Stitt at every turn. So that’s going to be real productive. He is a Democrat who ran as a Republican. Sadly got voted in because people weren’t paying attention. Steele would absolutely not be my first choice, but ANY choice is probably better than Drummond. He should not have made it this far. Please pay attention people.
SUPERINTENDENT FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION
Ryan Walters – R
COMMISSIONER OF LABOR
There is no great choice here. But will vote for Leslie Kathryn Osborn - R.
Her voting record has often been against the Constitution. She has voted often FOR increased taxes, increase in government spending and increased governmental control. She may say she is Republican but votes like a Democrat. However, Daugherty (Libertarian) stands against biblical values and mocks the Bible. Osborn is “the lesser of two evils.” I will hold my nose as I vote for her.
CORPORATION COMMISSIONER
Kim David – R
STATE TREASURER
Todd Russ – R
COUNTY ASSESSOR
John Wright—R
U.S. SENATOR
James Lankford – R
U.S. SENATOR – (REPLACES INHOFE)
Mark Wayne Mullin – R
U.S. REPRESENTATIVE
Kevin Hern – R
U.S. REPRESENTATIVE Dist #2
Josh Brecheen—R
U.S. REPRESENTATIVE, Dist #3
Frank Lucas is the Republican incumbent. Here is another issue of the lesser of two evils. I would vote him over the Democrat challenger – Jeremiah Ross. However, Lucas votes for what helps him not Oklahomans. He needs to have a good Republican challenger next time around to remove him.
U.S. REPRESENTATIVE, Dist #4 –
Tom Cole is the Republican incumbent. Here is another issue of the lesser of two evils. I would vote him over the Democrat challenger – Mary Brannon. However, Cole needs to have a good Republican challenger next time around as well. He is a moderate not a true conservative.
U.S. REPRESENTATIVE, Dist #5 –
Stephanie Bice—R (also a moderate, but the best choice we have sadly)
OK STATE SENATOR
State Senator Dist #2 - Ally Seifried
State Senator, Dist #22 - Kristen Thompson
State Senator, Dist #28 – Grant Green
State Senator, Dist #30 - Lori Callahan
State Senator, Dist #32 - John Michael Montgomery
State Senator, Dist #34 – Dana Prieto
State Senator, Dist #40 - Mariam Daly
OK STATE REPRESENTATIVE
State Representative Dist #4 - Bob Ed Culver
State Representative Dist #7 - Steve Bashore
State Representative Dist #9 - Mark Paul Lepak
State Representative Dist #12 - Kevin McDugle
I’m not necessarily a McDugle fan, but he is much better than the alternative.
State Representative Dist #13 - Neil Hays
State Representative Dist #23 - Terry O'Donnell
State Representative Dist #26 - Dell Kerbs
State Representative Dist #34 – Michael Baughman – Note: Although he is the “Republican” candidate, he is liberal to moderate – however, still way less liberal than the Democrat challenger Trish Ranson. Remember at times we have no great choice and so must make the best choice we can from two less than ideal candidates.
State Representative, Dist #35 - Ty D. Burns
State Representative, Dist #40 - Chad Caldwell
State Representative, Dist #41 - Denise Crosswhite Hader
State Representative, Dist #42 - Cindy Roe
State Representative, Dist #43 - Jay W. Steagall
State Representative Dist #44 - R. J. Harris
State Representative Dist #45 - Teresa Sterling
State Representative Dist #46 - Kendra Wesson
State Representative, Dist #57 – Anthony Moore
State Representative Dist #63 - Trey Caldwell
State Representative Dist #64 – Rande Worthen
State Representative, Dist #66 - Clay Staires

State Representative, Dist #71 - Mike Masters
State Representative, Dist #79 - Paul Hassink
State Representative, Dist #83 - Eric Roberts
State Representative, Dist #84 – Tammy West
State Representative, Dist #85 - Donna Rice-Johnson
State Representative, Dist #87 - Gloria Banister
State Representative, Dist #88 – this is between an unknown independent (Jed Green) and a verified ultra liberal Mauree Turner. Since Turner is so ultra liberal the unknown independent would get my vote.
State Representative, Dist #90 - Jon Echols
State Representative, Dist #95 - Max Wolfley
State Representative, Dist #97 - Lisa Janloo
State Representative, Dist #100 - Marilyn Stark
TULSA CITY COUNCIL
Dist #5 - Grant Miller
Dist #6 - Christian Bengel
Dist # 7 - Ken Reddick
District Judge, Dist 14, Offc 12
Kevin Gray
JUSTICES OF THE OKLAHOMA SUPREME COURT
Dist 2 – Dustin Rowe – YES (appointed by Kevin Stitt - R)
Dist 5 – James Winchester – YES (appointed by Frank Keating - R)
Dist 6 - Dana Kuehn – YES (appointed by Kevin Stitt - R)
Dist 8 – Douglas Combs – NO (appointed by Brad Henry - D)
OKLAHOMA COURT OF CIVIL APPEALS
Dist 1, Office 1 – Stacie Hixon – YES
Dist 3, Office 1 – Gregory Blackwell – YES
Dist 3 – Office 2 – John Fischer – NO
Dist 4 – Office 1 – Barbara Swinton – YES
Dist 5 – Office 1 – Thomas Prince – YES
NOTE: If you don’t like the fact that we don’t have great choices in some of these races, then consider running yourself, or getting in and helping with the campaign of someone willing to. The reason some “average” but good people don’t run, is they don’t get the support needed to run effectively. That is just as much our fault as anything else.
BACKGROUND INFO ON EACH CANDIDATE
To read through a short background on each candidate as to their conservative, moderate or liberal stand to help you make your decisions click here.
For Tulsa City Councilor Elections click here
If you are a pastor will you consider printing out the background information on the candidates from the links above for your congregation so that they can make informed decisions for biblical values at the polls?
(For additional information go to www.voterguideok.com)
Please consider printing out the background info on the candidates from these links and knocking on doors in your neighborhood to pass out the information to your friends and neighbors. Oklahoma is a conservative state. If people had this knowledge many would vote differently than how they might if they only hear the fake news television ads.
KEEP OKLAHOMA RED
Elections have consequences. Have you felt the bite of increasing food prices and gas prices? It is because of an election.
Let’s not make that mistake again. We MUST get out and vote for those who represent biblical conservative values, not just those who say they do and are “nice” and charismatic. This isn’t a popularity contest.
