KINGDOM OF GOD - PEACE
For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit .Romans 14:17
There is a divine order that we see in Romans 14:17 – Righteousness, Peace and Joy!
If you’re going to have peace, you must first walk in your righteousness; you’re right standing with God. That includes using your authority over the enemy when he opposes you and refusing to live in guilt, shame or condemnation of the past. When you refuse to yield to what the enemy brings your way you will then walk in your righteousness and peace.
The enemy is always trying to oppose us. He tries to bring worry, fear and doubt into our lives all the time and when we take the bait as he is casting his line into the waters of our hearts, then he wins and we forfeit our peace every single time. Refuse to give him your peace!
Peace is that tranquil state of being, not dependant on your feelings or circumstances. Peace is a force not a feeling and that powerful force is no match for whatever the enemy tries to throw your way.
The peace that belongs to us as believers isn’t a natural peace that flows from what is happening around you. It is a spiritual force that God has made ours. We can walk in peace!
Philippians 4:6 tells us the action we need to take in order for peace to engulf us.” Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.”
When we refuse to worry or fret about anything, then we get Philippians 4:7, “And God’s peace … which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
When circumstances are troubling, you can draw on the peace that is in you and yield to it instead of what is coming against you! God put this spiritual force of peace in you to draw on whenever you need!
Declaration to Life: The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy! They flow from God’s Kingdom, and they flow through the Holy Ghost and they flow in me. I walk in that flow today!
