WHO DO YOU BELIEVE?

Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? Isaiah 53:1

There are many names used to describe people who have accepted Jesus as their personal Savior. Christians, Christ followers and disciples are a few. Another name used is, “believers.”

Christians are believers! We believe in Jesus, His plans, His works and His reports; we believe His Word!

Mark 9:23 says, “All things are possible to him that believes.” The only qualification the Lord gives us is that we must believe. It’s our job to believe and it’s His job to perform!

Believing is the byproduct of God’s Word planted in our hearts. So the problem isn’t our lack of ability to believe; but it’s not knowing what to believe. When were struggling to believe in a certain area you need to get into Gods Word and immerse yourslef with truth.

I've heard people say that they are trying to believe God. My question to them is what are you trying to believe? It’s not just trying to believe God. God gets more specific in Isaiah 53:1 and asks, “Who has believed our report?” In any given area, we need to find out what God is saying and then believe His report.

In the Garden of Eden in Genesis, Eve chose to believe the serpents report instead of Gods when she listened to the Serpent and ate of the fruit one the tree of knowledge of good and evil. She had two reports, Gods and the enemies and she chose the wrong one.

We can either believe the report of the problem or the report of the Lord.

The serpent asked Eve, “Did God really say?”(Genesis 3:1). Yes, God did say! God says something about every situation we will ever face in this life. If we want Gods power to be on display in our lives, we must believe the report of the Lord and when we do that, He says ALL things are possible!

Whose report do you believe? Can you say, “The Bible says it, I believe it and that settles it?

Declaration to Life: I choose to believe the report of the Lord! His report says I am healed! His report says I am free! His report says I walk in victory!
