AND GOD SAID…PT 2
For I am the Lord who heals you. Ex 15:26 NKJ
How do we know whether it’s God’s will to heal us?
When it comes to healing it makes little difference what others say or think. We have to know what God says about it in His Word.
I love what God says about healing in the Old Testament, but we live in the New Testament. Jesus didn’t come to do away with the Old Testament but to fulfill it!
So let’s look at what the New Testament has to say regarding the subject of healing. These scriptures are taken straight out of the Word of God with little or no variation. The verbs and construction have been changed to apply to you personally.
God said…
I took your infirmities. Matt. 8:3
I bore your sickness. Matt. 8:17
I am moved with compassion toward the sick and I heal them. Matt. 14:14
Healing is the children’s bread. Matt. 15:26
If you can believe, all things are possible to them who believe. Mark 9:23, 11:23-4
When hands are laid on you, you shall recover. Mark 16:18
If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:14
Faith in my name makes you strong and gives you perfect soundness. Acts 3:16
I do good and heal all that are oppressed of the devil. Acts 10:38
The same spirit that raised Me from the dead now lives in you and that Spirit will quicken your mortal body. Rom. 8:11
My life may be made manifest in your mortal flesh. II Cor. 4:10-11
I have given you My name and have put all things under your feet. Eph. 1:21-22
I have delivered you from the authority of darkness. Col. 1:13
By My stripes you were healed. 1 Pt. 2:24
Beloved, I wish all things that you may…be in health. 3 John 2
Declaration to Life: Jesus tasted death for me. He destroyed the devil who had the power of death. He has delivered me from the fear of death and bondage. Heb. 2:9, 14-15
