  • March 19 - Jerry Rairdon will talk to us about Caring for our Community.

Dinner will be at 5:30pm with class starting at 6:15pm. (We are working on our dinners now, and will update when we have the schedule set.)

While the adults participate in our Open Community class, Temple Kidz ages kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to join us where we'll focus on serving God and working together. Kids will play, sing, dance, create, and learn about Jesus! Childcare will be provided for pre-k and younger.

Weekday Christian Education Geranium Sale

Weekday Christian Education will again sell geraniums to support their programs. Weekday is a non-denominational partner with the 22 elementary schools in the EVSC and Joshua Academy. The mission statement of Weekday is for every child to know they are uniquely and intentionally created in the image of a loving God by teaching them the Good News of Jesus and training them up in His ways. Roughly 3500 students take part each year during school hours in the free weekday education program.

Support Weekday Christian Education by purchasing 4” pot geraniums in red, white, orange, hot pink, pink, and lavender blue. The cost is $6.50 per plant. The last day to order is on Sunday, March 23rd. To order, call Stephanie Forney at 812-459-4923 and brighten up your garden this spring!

Emerging Leaders Connection

March 8th 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. (ET) – INUMC Conference Center, Carmel

ANY interested middle school, high school, or college student, young adult, or adult ministry leader is invited!

We will be joining together to grow in our faith and leadership, consider our involvement in the Indiana Conference and share our experiences of being the church. We will have fun building community, being creative, eating, and playing!

There is no further commitment expected but everyone will be given an opportunity to consider being a part of the INUMC Emerging Leaders Team.

Ministry leaders, could you please invite a young leader to join us? Share this information with young people? Join us as a ministry leader? I know you are busy, students are busy, and you already have things planned – I truly get it. My hope is that if there is a student who you know could benefit from an experience with other student leaders and would find further connection meaningful, you would connect them with this opportunity.
