| | | Catalyst for Change Grants | | With proceeds from the Gala of Giving, CFFC has awarded $175,000 in Catalyst for Change Grants to support collaborative, county-wide projects in Fayette County. | | Kathi Hull, Renee Couser, Jennifer Deichert, Barbara Koffler, Frank Mutnansky | $44,000 is being awarded to the Fayette County My Preparedness Initiative, which aims to teach high schoolers about emergency preparedness and public safety careers. The Fayette County My Preparedness Initiative is a collaboration that involves Fayette County 4-H; Penn State Fayette, Outreach and Continuing Education; Fayette County Firefighters Association, Inc.; Fayette Business Education Partnership; Fayette County Sheriff's Department; and more. | | | Mike Quinn, Kelly Harwood, Renee Couser, Melissa Ferris, David Artis | |
$30,900 is being awarded to Fayette Integrated Care Team, for the purchase of Tele-Health equipment to use in a treatment for co-occurring disorders of mental health and substance use. The Fayette Integrated Care Team is a collaboration between Chestnut Ridge Counseling Services, Inc. and Fayette County Drug & Alcohol Commission, Inc.

The Building a Stronger Fayette Fund awarded $25,000 in spring grants for legal advocacy equipment, employment readiness, senior activity center, spay/neuter/ vaccine clinics, dentistry care, fresh produce for food pantry, and staff expansion equipment.

Our fall grant cycle will support local school districts with funding opportunities for reusable classroom items, STEM education, and creative learning.
These grants are available through donor advised funds held at CFFC, which enable donors to have ongoing involvement in how their charitable dollars are used to support the community.
| | | This year's "day of giving" for Fayette County charities will be held on November 6. In its first five years, Fayette Gives raised over $2.5 million for more than 100 Fayette County charities. | | | CFFC’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program offers tuition assistance for Pre-Kindergarten and K-12. Tuition assistance is available to Fayette County, PA students attending a participating private school. To apply for this tuition assistance, you must contact your school administrator to obtain an EITC Tuition Assistance Application. Submit your completed application to CFFC, 5 South Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA 15401. All applications must be post-marked on or before July 31, 2025. | | |
