“Watch Me” Thanks
We had a great event on June 10 at our “Watch Me” Annual Celebration. Thanks to our video stars: Trailblazer Kenna Ingles, emcee Heather Brown, auction host Stacey McCurnin, ABF board chair Jackie Hartman, celebration chairs Jeri Meola and Amy Watters, and Ann Bancroft. And thanks to our 200+ supporters, we raised more than $100,000 for our 2021 programs.
There is still time to be a part of this important event. If you did not catch the celebration on June 10, we have posted the replay online.

We would also greatly appreciate your financial support! During the Annual Celebration we work to raise $100,000 in cash donations for our programs. We are about $25,000 short of our goal and this is where we need you most.

For the fifth year, our friend, Susan Albrecht is sponsoring a $10,000 challenge for our event Fund-a-Need. The next $10,000 in donations will be matched by her in honor of her late wife, Dr. Nancy Desmond. Please consider a gift and continue to “Watch Me!”

We are looking forward to celebrating in person with you on April 28, 2022, at our 25th-anniversary party. Mark your calendars!
Show Up and Show Out
Amaya (Spring 2021 Trailblazer) and her seventh grade basketball team, Minnesota Stars, competed in the AAU World Champions tournament in Ohio this past weekend. Her team made it to the Final Four and placed third overall.

"My girls SHOWED UP and SHOWED OUT this week at AAU Nationals! To be the best team in Minnesota is one thing but to be one of the BEST teams in the National is a whole different thing. Proud is an understatement of what I am of my girls. They really balled out!

Coaching these girls is my way of giving back. Seeing them achieve these amazing accomplishments brings me great joy!" - ABF mentor PJ Hill
