Proverbs 27:10 reminds us "Do not forsake your friend and your father's friend. and do not go to your brother's house in the day of your calamity. Better is a neighbor who is near than a brother who is far away."

Today, pray for your neighbors (by name if possible), asking God to bring shalom in the midst of disruption to those in your neighborhood.
We praise the Lord for the more  than 1,800+ pounds of food and 100+ encouragement cards that were dropped off yesterday at Carmel by 130 families. Our prayer is that these items will be a tangible expression of the love of Jesus' to our  neighbors at Merry Oaks, Carrington Place and Charlotte Rescue Mission.

We're posting Outreach updates online here as we have details. Stay tuned for more opportunities to be an encouragement and blessing to others in our community.
