Roles and Responsibilities: Students and Staff in a School Setting
The continued series of C
ommunity F
orums will be held on
Wednesday, January 25, starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Lecture Hall at Newtown High School. The community is encouraged to attend, as the hour will include a
n update from administration on the present practice of how bullying is identified and the consequences for off-center student behavior.
The hour will also include information and conversation on how all students, independent of race, color, or creed, should feel comfortable and supported by peers and staff in a school setting. There will be quality time within this hour to better understand the voice of the student and the parent.
If there are any questions regarding the January 25 Community F
orum,
please call the Superintendent's Office at 203-426-7621.

100th
DAY CELEBRATION - FEB 1
|
Bring Projects in Mon Jan 30 or Tues Jan 31
Middle Gate will be celebrating 100th Day on Wednesday, February 1st. All students are invited (but not required) to bring in a project that shows 100 of something. Projects are all displayed in a "museum" that all classes visit throughout the day. Projects often include jars or bags of pennies, Lego structures, and posters with stickers, stamps or pictures.
Please send projects in to your child's classroom on Monday, Jan. 30 or Tuesday, Jan. 31.
Please make sure your child's name and classroom teacher's name are clearly written on the project. We ask that you do not send in any food items due to allergies, as all projects will be displayed for all students to see.
Thank you for your help in making this such a special day for all our students!
