SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR - OCT 24 - OCT  27BookFair

These are early dismissal days due to conferences.  We are still in need of people to help kids shop the fair and work the register.

 

Book fair hours are :

Tues Oct 24 9-4p

Wed Oct 25 9-4p

Thurs Oct 26 9-8p

Fri Oct 27 9-4
 
Each class will have a turn to shop the fair during school, times are to be announced. 
 

Families are welcome to come and shop the fair as well.  Volunteers to help set up, check out and take down are always needed.

Families simply send in complete package they received for return to photographer
in exchange for new photo. New photo packages will be returned to school and sent home.

The 9th is also the day for group photos:
- Girl/Cub scouts, school clubs, etc.
- in addition to the 4th grade level group photo. 
VETERAN'S DAY CELEBRATION - NOV 10Vet
Volunteers Needed for Veteran's Day Celebration image

Mrs. Baron will be hosting our Veterans Day celebration on November 10th. This is a very special day to honor our veterans.

The day includes a breakfast for our honorees, an assembly and a walk through our Hall of Remembrance. Mrs. Baron will be providing juice, bagels and cream cheese and looking for volunteers to provide a few more breakfast items, such as, fruit, muffins/danishes or some kind of egg dish.

Nov 1st Middle Gate will be preparing for our Veterans Day celebration.  If you are available to hang certificates on our bulletin boards, we will be starting around 9:15a , please contact Amy Habboush at amy518@hotmail.com    We will also putting together a special display in the front showcase of our school.  We are looking for memorabilia to put in it to honor Veterans Day.  There is a lock that will be placed on the showcase while these items are there for safekeeping. Please let me know if you have anything to contribute.

 

** Please return the Veteran's Tributes that were sent home ASAP.  Mrs Baron is going to be organizing these wonderful tributes/pictures to hang in the hallways at MG! Thank you!

Do you want to advertise a MG event or program or are you looking for volunteers for a MG event or program? Then send us your information for submission in the Middle Gate Minute. The Middle Gate Minute is a Bi-Weekly publication. Please include a 1-3 sentence description and contact information for all submissions. If you want to attach a flyer or other document, it is best to send as .doc or .pdf

MG Weekly editor reserves the right to edit all submissions. All submissions due the Thursday before the next newsletter publication date.
