PARENT ORIENTATION NIGHTS - SEPT 17 & SEPT 20orient 
Dear Members of the Middle Gate Family,

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful weekend!  Below is a reminder about our revised Open House dates and times.

New Open House times:  Our new Open House dates are Monday, September 17 and
Thursday, September 20.  Please note there was a switch in nights for grade one and two (groupings below), and this is an adults-only event.  

Monday, September 17 - 6:00pm:
Kindergarten, Grade one, 4-Beauty, and 4-Eleoff

Thursday, September 20 - 6:00pm:
Grade two, grade three, 4-Baron, and 4-Turey

Room Parents

During your child's open house this week you will have an opportunity
to sign up to be a room parent. If you aren't able to attend please
let your child's teacher know in advance or email our room parent
coordinator, Lori Campbell ( [email protected] ). If multiple
people put in for a class two names will be chosen at random. If you
have any questions please let Lori know. Thank you!

Picture day is coming soon. If you haven't already received the order form, they should be coming home soon.

This picture day is only for Individual and Class Photos.

Picture Re-Take Day will be scheduled soon.
Picture Re-Take Day is for group photos (scouts/cubs, school clubs', etc) and the 4th grade level group. It is also for anyone who  missed, or is not satisfied with the pictures taken on Sept 25.

2016-2017 we raised $1,250.50 
2015-2016 we raised $1,228.80
 
 
Let's see if we can keep increasing our amount!
(and for those competitive people - some other schools in Newtown have raised less than $1,000)

How to submit something for the Middle Gate Minute:

Do you want to advertise a MG event or program or are you looking for volunteers for a MG event or program? Then send us your information for submission in the Middle Gate Minute. The Middle Gate Minute is a Bi-Weekly publication. Please include a 1-3 sentence description and contact information for all submissions. If you want to attach a flyer or other document, it is best to send as .doc or .pdf

MG Weekly editor reserves the right to edit all submissions. All submissions due the Thursday before the next newsletter publication date.
