BIRTHDAY BOOK CLUBBdayBook

Birthday Book Breakfast:  Help support the library and celebrate your child's birthday.
  • Birthday Book Club is a donation to the Middle Gate School Library's book collection.
  • It helps us purchase new, hardcover books throughout the year.
  • Parents detach the form below with a check for $20.00 (per child) to MGS PTA (you don't have to wait for your child's birthday month) and send it into school.
  • Your child will receive an invitation to attend during his or her birthday month. (Some months are combined.)
  • On the day of Birthday Book Club your child will check into his or her classroom then come down to the library for breakfast (Apple Juice/Water, Cheese Sticks, Mini-muffins and apple slices) and select a newly purchased book (selected for Birthday Book Club) to donate to Middle Gate School's library.
  • Your child will bring the book home for you to review, return it to school and we will put his or her name in it indicating the donation.
  • Questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Hurley in the library at [email protected]
  • THANKS FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT OF OUR LIBRARY.

PTA MEMBERSHIP FORMSPTAFORMS
If you haven't turned in your PTA dues , I encourage you do it. I didn't join the PTA the first year I was at Middle Gate because I wasn't sure where my money was going. Once I started getting involved and volunteering I saw just how much the PTA did for my kids and to better our school. Our PTA money has help by cooling stations, library books, shelving and sound equipment and more. The PTA pays for multiple educational, fun and interactive assemblies, we have 2 booked so far and looking into more. We have had author visits and MANY fun family events. In October we have Trunk or Treat and our Scholastic Book Fair, both are possible thanks to PTA volunteers. We'd like to get all memberships in by Sept 30 so we can get to work on your Directory, so helpful for finding friends and sending invitations. Please consider sending in your form and getting involved, we'd love to have you.

Here is a link to the form if you need it:

VOLUNTEERS AND CHAIR PEOPLE NEEDEDVolunteers
We need a few more volunteers to make this a successful year image

We are looking for people to shadow chair people this year for next year's events and committees. Most events/committees do not take a big investment in time but give a lot back. Things like the Scholastic Book fair, need help with volunteer sign ups, set up and tear down. Last years chair is offering to help whomever takes over by setting the schedule, ordering all supplies and sending out the schedule/introduction letter to the teachers and being available for questions. We have all the information you need to be successful and make it an easy volunteer spot to take over. You are never alone on any volunteer events, there are plenty of people to help or to give you helpful hints and ideas.

If you are interested in volunteering or being a chair-person please reach out to Amy Habboush at [email protected].
YEARBOOKS ON SALE!Yearbook
Last year there were people who did not order Yearbooks in time and there were not enough extra yearbooks at the end of the year. Order now and make sure your child will remember their year at Middle Gate:
