Some Eagles, who were previous winners, were invited to the Elementary Spelling Bee and wished them good luck. They gave the elementary contestants the wonderful advice: You may be nervous and that's okay because you care about this competition.

Our annual 7th grade science camp to Point Reyes was canceled due to the storm. 7th graders were flexible with teachers' alternate plans with day trips to the Technology museum, Bolinas and Lake Elizabeth.

6th graders led the assembly with support from AFTC on the Lunar New Year.

Students researched on the Lunar New Year in their bilingual language arts, including interviewing Deaf Asian entrepreneur Melody Stein who graduated from CSD in 1992. They created this quilt.
