A FUN & INNOVATIVE 4-H SUMMER LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOR YOUTH IN VIRGINIA
July 15-18, 2019 • Virginia State University
For Ages 11-13
This is an overnight program with an option of attending for one day only.
The iLeadership Institute is a 4-day,
3-night program on the campus of Virginia State University that is designed to foster leadership skills in Middle School aged children.

The highly acclaimed program features interactive activities that:
•  Expose youth to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, and Math) subjects
• Strengthen team-building and networking skills
• Introduce them to distinguished speakers • Teach them table etiquette
• Helps them develop personal action plans • Teaches them basic marketing skills
• Allows them to experience what it’s like to live on a college campus
• And more.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH 4-H NOT REQUIRED.  By participating in this summer program, youth will automatically be enrolled into the Virginia 4-H program free of charge. Additionally, the iLeadership Institute will enhance the ability of new, current and future 4-H youth to serve in local, district, state and national 4-H leadership roles.

PROGRAM COST:
  • Delegates Week Pass (ages 11-13) - $300.00
  • Delegates Day Pass (ages 11-13) - $100.00
  • Teen Mentors (ages 16-18)- $50
  • Volunteers/4-H Agents - $25
A limited amount of scholarships are available to help with the cost.
