for Your Slot for "Wrap Up" Day!

June 5th is Wrap Up Day-- a time where students can come back to campus to get any items they may have left behind in their lockers, return chromebooks, library books, athletic uniforms, tumbling uniforms, art pieces, and pick up a yearbook and awards, etc. YOU MUST SIGN UP for a ten minute slot. CLICK HERE for the form to sign up for your time.

The form includes directions for you for the day. Only one person per family will be allowed in the building and anyone entering the building will need to wear a face mask. This will NOT be a time for any social meet-ups. Students will have 10 minutes each.

French-Drama Workshop Travel Project
The sixth grade class embarked on their Travel to Paris Project at the beginning of February. Every two weeks, the class was introduced to essential vocabulary related to airport and customs, transportation on the ground, hotel and accommodations, dining out au café, and finally, sightseeing.

The students claimed their respective character roles and scriptwriting assignments while the students busily drafted their original scripts all in French.  Initially, the goal of the project was to lead the fifth grade class in a travel simulation, however, the students were very quick to adapt to the remote learning experience.

Last week, the sixth grade class completed the first ever Roycemore School Virtual Trip to Paris. The recording begins on the airplane, as you can see with Marko’s creative use of backgrounds in Zoom , then on to the Paris subway with Robi’s brilliantly designed map of Paris in the background. From there, the students turn into hotel guests and workers and then transform into chefs and servers at a café.

Finally, each student independently researched specific locales in Paris and created their own guided tours that can be accessed via the links below.

We invite you to come travel to Paris with the sixth grade French-Drama Workshop class! Bon voyage.
