REMINDER OF WALK-TO PERMISSION GUIDELINES

The "Walk-to" Permission Guidelines outline important rules for students walking to designated areas after school. Parents must complete a digital permission form, and students will receive a sticker on their ID indicating where they are allowed to walk for after-school pickup. Their ID will be checked when they are in these areas.



Key points:

1. Students can be picked up at the high school pickup area if they have sibling in HS or a special circumstance approved by administration. Students and drivers must follow the pickup flow of HS. No students should be picked up in the drive through lane behind parking spots.
2. Students walking to the Elementary area may do so after the elementary classes have dismissed (3:10 PM). They may wait with a sibling on the playground or visit a family member’s classroom after elementary class dismissal. MS students must wait in the MS area (M-wing) where there is supervision until such time.
3. Students attending after-school programs must be picked up immediately after the program ends. If not picked up on time, they must go to extended care.
4. Loitering in unauthorized areas will lead to disciplinary action, including detention or Saturday School.
5. Students must go to Extended Care or be picked up by a parent/guardian if their after-school activity begins later than 3:20 PM.
