IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

STUDENT CELLPHONES AT SCHOOL

Students are to keep their cell phones in their backpacks at all times during the school day. If a student needs to contact a parent they are to come into the office to make that call or text. If a parent needs to contact a student, they are asked to call the school office and student will be called into the office to talk with parent.

STUDENT ID BADGES

The student ID badges are used for lunch meals in the cafeteria. Students are issued the badges at the beginning of the year at no charge. If a badge is forgotten or lost the cafeteria has a "no card line" that students can wait in and still get their lunch. Students have three paper badge cards in the office available to use for a one day use. The three paper cards are printed at the beginning of each semester and when they have used all of them, they then need to buy a new ID badge card to use. There is a charge of $5.00 for each time the ID replacement badge needs to be printed and is billed to the parent account.

NJHS SERVICE PROJECT - SPCA

While we can’t do everything, everyone can do something. NJHS collects used soft goods for our NJHS Service project. We have made 3 trips to the shelter with donations and they have been very grateful. The animals need used sheets, blankets, and towels to snuggle in to be warm and feel loved. It is a great way to re-purpose those items that can’t generally be donated to other organizations.

Contributions can be dropped off in the MS office or in room M3 any time and the students and Dr. Marchione will deliver them.

Thank you for supporting NJHS and the animals of Solano County!

Hello Falcon Radio Fans!

This week has been an exciting one as our Elementary School musicians performed live on the air. Ms. Nadine Snodderly 3-5th Grade musicians played a variety of songs on instruments ranging from Flutophones to Brass, wind and percussion. The musicians were students from Ms. Butler, Luney, Alexander Perez, Dean, and Deadrich's classes. A big thank you goes to Ms. Snodderly and our Elementary Teachers.

An important byproduct of these concerts was that students

received public speaking experience as they introduced themselves and the selections on air. Everyone was confident and there was no "mic fright."

Initial response has been positive. Several parents listening to KVCB on their car radios were happy to hear their students. Watch this space for other concerts later this Spring. Psalms 150:4 encourages us to "Praise him with instruments." We did not have any timbrels, string instruments, or organs, but we did make a joyful noise to The Lord.

KVCB is an open mic to all ages and program ideas. Please contact us with your ideas.

In the meantime, enjoy Spring and the beauty God has given us.

In His Service,

Dr. Gary C. Dreibelbis
