Dear Middle School Families,

Grades 6-8 are going ice skating tomorrow, Friday February 14, at the St. Louis Park Recreation Outdoor Center. Students and chaperones will travel by bus, leaving school at 10:15 a.m. and returning at 12:45 p.m. They will skate from 11 a.m. to noon. Please note the following important reminders:

• The rink is covered but outdoors, so students must dress according to the weather. Students must stay in the vicinity of the outdoor rink and are not to go into the indoor section. Locker rooms and a warming room are available for changing skates and storing shoes.
• Cell phones/devices are not allowed, per school policy.
• Students may bring a snack and water bottle. They will be back at school for lunch.
• Students can bring their own skates or borrow skates from the rink at no cost.
• There is no need to bring money.
