6th and 7th grade Student Council debates are happening tomorrow from 10:15 to 10:40 a.m.

The 8th grade Students of Color met today at lunch. Next Friday there will be a Middle School Students of Color Community lunch meeting.
Gabe Cohen ‘25, Student Council President, announced the first survey students will complete called the Get To Know You Survey. Gabe said, “This will give us another opportunity to discover what we have in common with other students and with our teachers and advisors. It will also give us a chance to discover some of our unique interests.” Students and faculty completed the survey in advisory today.
Wellness Classes have begun! Wellness classes are led by Tammy Graham, Middle School Counselor. Classes will cover mental health topics; and the first one will be focused on life in a pandemic. Next week, on Tuesday, October 20 the first wellness class will take place for section 7.1 Science and on Wednesday, October 21 10:45 a.m. section 6.1 Humanities. Ms. Graham will send a Meet link to students. All classes are virtual, take place during BVRFIT, and happen about once a month.
The first BVR Hiatt Leadership Institute workshop, Everyone Can Lead, took place this morning following MS Meeting. The next BVR Leadership Institute is November 12.
