Dear Middle School Families,
We completed our first day of 100% this past Friday. I commend your children and their teachers for their effort and cooperation. The day would not have been successful without it. On Monday, faculty will have an opportunity to debrief and make appropriate adjustments to help the school day run as efficiently as possible.
Thank you for joining us last week at Back-to-School Night. Links for each grade-level presentation are below for those of you who were not able to make it or who would like to revisit the information. I hope you were able to learn more about your children’s teachers and classes. Also, Middle School Technology Coordinator Michelle Faciana has prepared three video tutorials on Student Email, Google Classroom and Notability to help you get a sense of key resources students use for their classes. The videos should also help you to support your children in their work.

Similar to Lower School, smartwatches should not be used in the Middle School. We treat them in the same manner as cell phones. Any watch that is capable of connecting to wifi or cell service, able to receive and/or send messages, and/or take photos is considered a smartwatch. Smartwatches must remain in backpacks and not be used anywhere inside or outside the building during school hours. Smartwatches and cell phones are ONLY allowed for students with medical accommodations, and prior permission would be needed by contacting the school nurses and me.
We welcome students back to campus on Tuesday, October 13th (“C” Day). Please feel free, as always, to contact me with any questions or concerns. We continue to move forward as a middle school community amidst the circumstances surrounding and affecting us. Thank you for your partnership, because it has made all of the difference. Enjoy your evening.
