HBCSD, HVPTO and HBEF will host tables during the registration process. Remember to bring checkbooks, cash or credit cards to registration as some stations offer opportunities to make optional donations or purchase items.
Students must stop at ALL below listed tables to receive their schedule at the end.
-
Check in & Passports - Students check in at this table and will receive a registration passport, which would take students through the onsite registration process.
-
E-Bike Info - Information on the new on-campus registration requirements and safety class (funded by HVPTO).
-
Special thanks to the Hermosa View, Vista, Valley Parent Teacher Organization (HVPTO) for generously funding this year's e-bike safety courses. In partnership with E-Bike Sense, Hermosa Valley offers a comprehensive two-hour e-bike and e-scooter safety course that combines classroom instruction with hands-on riding practice. Students will learn the rules of the road, proper helmet use, and safe riding practices.
- Completion of one safety course is required for students who wish to park an e-bike on the Hermosa Valley campus during the 2026–2027 school year. Students who complete the course will receive a numbered registration sticker for their e-bike. Unregistered e-bikes are not permitted on campus and will require parent/guardian pickup.
- To participate, students must:
- Register for one course below (first come, first served).
- Bring their e-bike and a properly fitted helmet.
- Attend the full two-hour session.
-
All courses will be held on the Hermosa Valley campus on the dates and times listed in the registration form. These are the only safety courses that will be offered during the 2026–2027 school year. REGISTER HERE

Families may purchase an HVS PE uniform or provide their own designated PE clothing consisting of dark blue shorts (of appropriate length) and a gray t-shirt. Students who provide their own PE clothing must change into it for class and may not wear the same clothing they wore to school that day. Please submit PE uniform orders through the ASBWorks Portal by August 10, 2026, to ensure they are ready for Registration Day. Families needing assistance through our scholarship program should contact Alison Montoya.
-
HBEF - Annual Giving donation option and HVPTO Reminder Binder pick-up
-
Campus Tours and Locker help will be available.
-
Class Schedules will be handed out to students, after the passport is completed! If your family will be out of town and unable to attend Registration Day, a make-up registration opportunity will be available on Tuesday, August 18th, from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Although it is not necessary to attend, as student schedules will be posted and viewable in PowerSchool at 8am that same day, families are welcome to stop by during this time.
Thank you to everyone who signed up at the end of last school year to volunteer for Middle School Registration!
For those that signed up, please remember for registration, parents and students MUST work together. Please note that students CANNOT sign up to work during their own grade registration (e.g. a seventh grader can only work during 6th or 8th grade registration). Be sure to enter your student's name and grade in the comments section in order to receive service points. If you are unsure if you signed up, please make sure to check here: MIDDLE SCHOOL REGISTRATION SIGN-UP.
Please note, we also need help at the Back to School Picnic! So get a jump on earning Service Points and sign up HERE!
Valley School thanks you for your help! They couldn't run this very important day without you!
